1. when you and your ex split up... and you dont want to be with her, but she wants to be with her ... DO NOT LEAD HER ON! dont sleep with her afterwards... do not make a promice that you might get back together, do not tell them you still 'love her'.
2. when you have a new girlfriend and your ex is still after you, do not say 'but i dont want to break her heart' it does not go down well... because that makes the ex feel like she still has a chance... and it makes the girlfriend think that you might go ahead and get with your ex.
3.when your ex bugs you when you have a girlfriend... be honest. tell them that you have a girlfriend and you really do like her, and it IS OVER!
4. do not talk about your ex's that you used to love dearly. do not rant and rave about how much you hate yourex's.... it makes it seem like you still love them, but you're in denial
