A girl who has demonstrated interest for you probably would not want to be "just friends" with you.
If she agrees to being friends, it is probably because she can't stand the idea of living without you in her life. But the reality is that she doesn't want to be friends - and she will probably be very unhappy being just friends. It's really painful to try to be friends with a guy you really like and are really attracted to.
If she says she does not want to be friends, it's not that she doesn't like your personality. Guys mistakenly think that girls who only want a relationship are only attracted to the guy physically. But in truth, they obviously like the guy's personality and wouldn't be able to just be a friend.
