well i dont like to brag, but im a very confident person, i walk into a room and i have no fear of speaking to any random girl, and you shouldnt either. Ive had many relationships, and am currently in the best of my life, I met this girl at a party, never knew her, and now im close to proposing. Anyways, i have some tips on how to be confident and vibrant when you walk into a room. First of all, at most events there is at least one person you know, use them as your lifeline, go back to them if anything seems wrong. Look out for people you would like to talk to, find someone, dont worry if they are with a group of friends, they know as much about you as you know about them, and for all the know you may be their next boyfriend. Now embarasment always seems worse to you than anyone else, most people forget stupid statements or questions. You have nothing to fear, your all a group of humans attempting to enjoy yourselves, why should you be scared of having a good time? So, go up to this person, or group of people, with a smile, and say hello, most girls are accommodating and love to engage in conversation even with people they don't know. Introduce yourself, and make and either make a comment on something their wearing (compliments work best ;) ) or simply stand and listen to the conversation theyre having, and if you hear something you feel you can make a legitimate comment on go ahead, eventually shell ask you questions and youve started a conversation, spend at most 15 minutes talking if its a large social gathering, and get any information you can, you may think asking a girl for her phone number is a difficult task, but if your conversation has gone well there is no reason she wouldnt want to continue conversation later on, after that move on to someone else. If you see her again before she leaves, tell her it was nice talking to her, and to have a good night. This can occur with multiple girls, and its not being a jerk if you talk to more than one girl, and get their phone numbers. after all you can at least gain a friendship, which is extremely valuable. Trust me, its not difficult to get 5 numbers at a party, just keep a positive outlook, they're there to have a good time and meet new people just like you. look out for more tips later
