A common complaint - all men are bastards. Where are the nice ones?

Well, have you looked around? I mean properly. Say, most guys you meet are guys who come up to talk to you in bars, then what about the good looking guy who's just hanging around with a couple of mates by the jukebox? Could be one of the shy ones often mentioned here. So, he's not the sort of guy who'd try to come over and pick you up... but you like the look of him, don't you? Go on, you do. And he's NOT going around trying to pick up girls - could well mean he's not just after getting laid, you know.

You don't necessarily have to march over and talk to him if you're uncomfortable doing that (though there's nothing more affirming to a guy that a girl likes him than if you make the first move - you're almost guarenteed a call) - just make some sort of initial contact. Catch his eye and smile a couple of times. Hopefully, he'll get it
